Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. The role involves managing inventory, reviewing stock levels, documenting what needs to be ordered, and identifying products nearing expiration that should be put on sale. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for arranging orders, coordinating deliveries, and providing weekly reports summarizing inventory activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Review: Count and validate inventory levels, document items that need to be ordered, and identify products nearing expiration that should be put on sale.
• Order Coordination: Arrange the ordering and delivery of inventory items to ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Expiry Management: Track expiry dates and suggest timely sales of products nearing their expiration to minimize waste.
• Reporting: Submit a detailed weekly report summarizing inventory activities, including orders placed, items nearing expiration, and any adjustments made to the stock.
• Supplier Liaison: Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and negotiate better terms when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and the internal team.
• Basic proficiency in German is required for effective communication with suppliers and team members.
• Familiarity with stock management software or tools is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Tuesday to Friday: 1.5 hours per day for inventory review and management 
• Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary.
